This version incorporates the rules from OD&D, its supplements, Holmes D&D and various early magazine articles. Anyone had a look at it?

I think the download was possibly illegal. I'm not sure. It's hard to tell the difference between a retroclone and a "copy and paste" job if you don't have the original books. :?

Most likely, it was taken down to avoid copyright & IP entanglements. I have a copy of it, and it seems closer to AD&D "Lite" rules than 0e, although it does copy a lot from the LBBs. I still like it in general, but I'd not use the rules per se, but use the whole as a reference, or as an introduction game to 1e.
