10 MUST SEE when visiting Free City of Greyhawk?

Post by kevperrine » Mon Mar 12, 2018 5:46 pm

I'm "introducing" my players to the Free City of Greyhawk this next session.
Some of them have NEVER "seen" Greyhawk and only heard of the setting. Some are childhood fans of the city.

What are the MUST SEEs?
The coolest places to visit?
The best most fun NPCs to meet?

What are the things that would be a shame to NOT "show" them? Or allow them to interact with?

If you could describe the Free City of Greyhawk in a short "opening scene" of a movie, walking into the streets for the first time... what would you say?

thanks!

I'm not particularly familiar with Greyhawk myself, so I'm curious to see the responses on this thread.

One I would totally include would be Oscar the albino Owlbear, and Oswald the Manticore, the mascots at the Pit, and for the Foreign Quarter.
