Hey! Was just doing that when I thought that I should check in on this thread before posting it! Already dug up the artwork, photographed, and edited it. ;-) See you over there in few minutes!
Hmm. I saw that thread and thought: wow - that is strange!

There were several photos, a couple pretty... umm... interesting. ;-) One of them is titled "My girls... being naughty"
Hmm. Sounds like something forbidden by the d20STL! ;) Moving swiftly on.

Well my streak of 197 weeks has ended as I succumbed to fatigue. Expect more next week. Maybe even two!

Fatigue. FATIGUE?!?!?! That's no excuse! Do we need to chain you to a desk?

That's almost 4 years of comics. Certainly one to be proud of! ;) Take your time off, you've earned it ;)

I love Gods in Spaaace. I can't wait for the day that Ptah turns up, doing his usual sham-job of pretending to be the leader of the local pantheon of gods (maybe wearing a wig or a false beard, so that he looks like one of the Greyhawk gods). :D

AFAIK, you are quite correct with the "no shields" thing. Spelljamming ships have very large surface areas, and I don't think that most defensive shield spells are able to contain a SJ ship. Sadly, the scale of Spelljammer means that most spells need to be epic level, to seem on a level playing field with the normal spells. AD&D's Tome of Magic gave us Quest Magic, that would do that sort of job, but I think that concept wasn't carried over to 3rd edition. (If you had a bunch of Celestian worshiping clerics chanting and powering different parts of the ship's shields, that would probably fit in with the D&D power levels, but there is no precident for it in Spelljammer itself.)

This sort of thing would almost certainly have been addressed if the AD&D SJ product line had continued (and we had been given a SJR9 accessory dealing with spells or a boxed set to expand the priest and wizard spellcasting system.

And if WotC had sold (or licenced) a 3rd edition SJCS product line, we would probably have had a "Magic of Wildspace" hardback (similar to "Magic of Faerun" or "Towers of High Sorcery") that would have covered this and many other issues.

Anyhoo, you were pretty much on the ball here, from my memory. And more importantly, the plot was great.

...I'll be waiting for someone to suggest they use the "self destruct" device next*.

* = They won't have one of those either, but you need to waste some of those 60 seconds.

Sorry, to hear you were not well. Episodes 198 and 199 were well worth the wait. They remind me of the way that there are so many men playing women on World of Warcraft! They are easy to tell, as they are the ones that like running around in a binkini!  :D

Anyway, I love the dig at Olidammara that Wee Jas stuck in while "defending him" against the alligation that his characters were always copies of himself. That was a classic! 8-)

Hilarious! I had to pass this on to my PBEM groups, both of which take place in the World of Greyhawk.

Thanks. :) I've ran Greyhawk since I first bought the Greyhawk Folio BitD, and I haven't changed it much since then. Probably would advance the date & story line if I ever ran a campaign longer than a few game months, or actually had any Face to Face groups!

But PBEM is good, simply for the writing that will stay around as long as the interwebs, and even doubly good for the hilarious stuff that comes out of some scenarios.

Happy Needfest Greyfans! And surprise! hey to Chatdemon too, this year's Needfest Comic happens to be a dedication to him and his favorite deity.

I love it Mortellan! Man I used to love watching the Rudolph Christmas special, and you nailed it and the characters so well! This was great! (I especially loved the "kiss my shiny ..." line by Raxivort).
