Some thoughts about Cerilian Gods

Across the ruined empires of Cerilia, the dogs of war are let loose. Somewhere on a muddy battlefield, a common man becomes a hero - and a hero becomes a king.

Some thoughts about Cerilian Gods

Post by Marco Fossati » Tue Jul 14, 2009 7:35 am

Hi,

I'm rereading Book of Priestcraft and I'm asking few questions

1) Cuiraécen: he's the son of Haelyn and Nesirie and he was born 3 centuries after Deismaar. Did he born already as a god? or was he a human, with a true bloodline, and later did he become a god? and then in what manner did he achieve godhood?

2)same questions for Eloéle and Laerme

I would say he was born as a god. I find it difficult to see ascension of mortals to godhood in circumstances other than extraordinary like Mount Deismaar.

There's no indication that these characters were ever mortals. Ascension is supposed to be quite difficult, since the Gorgon and the Serpent still haven't managed to complete it.
