alright I'll work something out tomorrow, I'll take a look into my Complete Book of Bard and PM a first draft.

ShadowJak,

If you can, add any vital combat gear your PC has... potions and/or anything similar, if there is anything of note.

A Copy of my Gnome is on my Google Drive.

He's equipped with Mondane stuff only at the moment, if any manic item is allowed, he would probably get a Handy havresack, a weapon and some scrolls..

Looks good, so far.

The character should start with standard gold for 3rd-level PC. I'm so used to 3E, that I'm not sure what that would be for a 2E character. I think Lord Sheriff Takari and I had this conversation. I'll see if its posted anywhere. (We might have talked about it on Facebook.)

For Boneguard and ShadowJak:
Also, you may allocate either an extra 175 or 200 gold (yet to be finalized) to your PC creation. The items gained from these extra coins come from a patron who has lent you the money/gear. Your PC can also choose to hold this extra gold in reserve with his/her patron for emergencies, if you so choose.

Final GP value is 400 for the extra largess provided by a patron.

if Willpell is still considering the idea of joining in

might I suggest a Fighter/Priest for him

the simplicity of a fighter allows one to learn the rules for 2nd Ed. more easily along with the Hit Points to stay alive long enough
to get things done.
since most Clerics are not restricted by Armor as Wizards are, he can wear a heavier and more protective suit adding to his overall survivability
with no penalty to casting
even if he chooses not to pick a specific Deity it can be ruled that his Greater Divinity allows him to use the weapons he picked to be proficient in
a short list of Non Weapon Proficiencies could include
Religion
Healing
Herbalism
Brewing <good for making potions as well as Beer>

the general Casting concept for priests and Clerics has far less complications than any other caster in the game
and most of the spells only need his Holy Symbol unless otherwise noted in the spell's description
