[Time of the Tarrasque] Session blogs

At long last, my new campaign is underway! I've posted a column about the PCs and the first session to my blog:

Time of the Tarrasque #1: New Companions: In which our heroes meet and have their first taste of adventure together.

I'll be cross-posting these blogs about the campaign here, so that I can keep any discussion of them separate from my "Studded Plate" thread. That will make it easier to find all the information on the campaign here, too.

And for ease of reference, my previous Piazza posts about the setting are in this thread.

We have one more session at the end of this month before one of my players will be moving away. She recently completed her Ph.D., and landed a postdoc in another state. Her husband, who is also in the group, will be joining her when he finishes his degree at the end of this year. [They play Lucretia the monk and Jubair the rogue, respectively.]

We're a pretty close-knit group of friends, so don't want to lose either of them from the game if we can help it. So we've begun discussing how to continue the game after she leaves. That may involve her joining us remotely, or moving the whole game to an online platform. (I've had one less-than-ideal experience with the former, and no experience at all with the latter.) There are numerous pros and cons to almost every option I've thought of so far, so we'll have to see what feedback I get from the rest of the group.

Campaign Updates: A quick update on the status of the campaigns that I feature on my blog, including "Time of the Tarrasque." (Even shorter version: I've had to put the game on hiatus for a while.)

We remain on a rather extended hiatus, but this week's blog is a bit of an "under the hood" style look at the game:

Creating Pantheons for "Time of the Tarrasque": A quick summary of how I devised gods for my latest campaign world.

I have been talking with my players about resuming the campaign, so hopefully I will have more substantial updates to post soon. I don't know how soon we'll start, but there will definitely be a blog post at some point about the adjustments we're making due to the group being smaller now (4 PCs instead of 6).
