Xen'drik Map

Post by Onslaught » Fri Oct 27, 2017 10:53 am

Hi all!

After a long time away from Eberron, I'm preparing myself to DM Tomb of Annihilation in the setting in the foreseeable future (you can see it here: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread ... in-Eberron)

I'm going to use most of Xen'drik in the adventure, so I'd like to have a nice map from the continent.... but I'm having a hard time finding a map in good resolution. The one from WotC Archives (Secrets of Xen'drik) is too small.

Does anyone have a better option? Know if the author sells their maps as Mike Shae does today?

Thanks!

Hello Onslaught!

Would the one from the Eberron wikia be a better resolution?

Keep in mind the scale on the 4e maps is different from the 3e maps. The continents in 4e are smaller.

Wait. Really? I never actually noticed that. But that might explain why my timetables for travel kept changing each time I opened a map of Khorvaire for my players... because I didn't differentiate between opening up my 3.5 vs. 4E map.

Very nice HiRes map. However, it is unfortunately unlabeled.

That or the Traveller's Curse.

Seriously though, I think the difference is in the neighborhood of 25-30%.

Never noticed that (well... I basically skip 4e).

However the continent size in 4E is actually huge... since I'm going to play ToA, the skyfall peninsula is the size of Chult (where the adventure originally is located).

Even if I use just the jungle parts of Xen'drik, it takes ~3-4 times what it would take in Chult. So smaller is better!
