I want to flip out...like a ninja!

A place where the monk class won't feel like an oddball. Kara-Tur can be discussed in the FR sub-forum. Rokugan can be discussed in it's own forum. Mahasarpa and other Asian-themed worlds can be discussed here.

I want to flip out...like a ninja!

Post by Dragonhelm »

I think ninjas are fun, especially those who have some sort of mystical power. They're great in movies, and I'm a huge fan of the ones from Mortal Kombat. Sub-Zero and Scorpion are my faves.

I'm curious, though, what sort of setting would they fit into the best. Can you have that type of ninja from Kara-Tur? Or would another setting be more appropriate?

Discuss!

<shrug>Depends on what you're after. If just magic-using ninja, you probably could use dual-classed shinobi/ninjas from Complete Ninja's Handbook (2e) to get a baseline. If you're bringing in the whole Outworld aspect, then possibly not (or Outworld becomes Abeir).

Golarion (Pathfinder) has a ninja archetype for rogues.

You can also find the Ninja archetype here.
