Spelljammer in the new Waterdeep book

Post by Matchstick » Fri Sep 21, 2018 5:48 pm

Spelljammer is (sort of) mentioned in the screenshot of the new Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage posted by Chris Perkins on Twitter. There's even a Space Hamster in the art! Sounds like a crashed Spelljammer will be at least part of the setting.

There was an Undermountain module (not one of the boxed sets, IIRC) that detailed a crashed Spelljammer ship.

Here is what Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage says:
Scavenger Crew
The Mad Mage captured a spacefaring pirate ship called the Scavenger, stole the magical device that propels it, and left the derelict vessel and crew to rot in the Caverns of Ooze.
