Skothar/Davania 8 mile maps

Postby karameikos » Sun Mar 16, 2014 5:06 am

Are the continents of Skothar & Davania ever going to get a comprehensive Thorf 8 mile hex treatment?

I'd also be curious re the same as far as northern Brun goes.

So far only 24mph maps exists of the areas outside the "canon" areas, i.e. Known World, Savage Coast and Alphatian sea

Also try directly under

here: for Davania and the separate regions within Davania listed underneath that.

Areas of northern Brun is a little bit higher on the Atlas page within northern Brun, and also parts of western Brun.

As Sturm said, however, I don't think that there is anything which is 8 mph

These are massive areas, which in many cases don't have a lot of development, so I think 8 mile per hex maps would be a bit premature at this point. On the other hand, it's a great scale to develop small regions in, so hopefully we'll see more at this scale developing small areas in the future.

I'd be amazed if we could get a single 72 mile per hex map people could agree upon. Maybe around three would satisfy everyone?

I guess I don't really have a clear idea as to how much content has been made for Skothar...or how much of fanon material doesn't work with others.
It's about as gothic as you can get with anthropomorphic beavers.

For Northern Brun, there are several maps. I'm developing a new one for the part of Norwold south of Oceansend, but there are already maps by JTR in the FGAZ series for most areas.
