Polynesian Hex Art

Postby Birchbeer » Wed Mar 28, 2012 8:51 pm

So I decided to create some Polynesian style houses, in the Hale Pali Style Image

Hale Pali were houses made with grass covering and a frame. They could be made small (more or less an opening in a roof) and large (house style). Image

I'm not sure if the image conveys the grass nature of the outside. I'll be revisiting it as time allows. Providing here in case folks want to add it. :)

Birchbeer, can you include an example image? I'd like to see what you've come up with.

Also, just a note to say I've moved this and one other thread into the main Thorf's Projects forum, which is where "meta" discussion about mapping goes.

I love this Birchbeer! Now I have to figure out which Hollow Moon culture I can use those icons for.

Your welcome. I've been reading about a few things and thought about Hawaii and HW Maori. We really need towns to reflect polynesian village style, which is quite different than the style for other peoples.
