Four times the size of the Known World area. The Known World area is what appeared on the map from the Expert set.The Scarecrow wrote:GreatAshtagon wrote:It's due east about 2000 miles, and four times the area of the entire Known World area.
What does it means "four times the area of the entire Known World Area", Ashtagon?

I think you are out of luck, a Yahoo Image and Google Image search don't turn up anything of the sort.Chimpman wrote:Is there a map of Oostdok out there anywhere?

Re: Map Request Thread
I don't think so. I want to say that it might possibly be one of the floating islands depicted in one of the PWAs (1011? 1012?), but I'm not sure. In any case, it doesn't have much in the way of detail if it is.
If you're thinking of trying to map it, a good place to start might be by looking at the map of Serraine in PC2. Part of Oostdok used to be attached to Serraine. I've always envisioned that prior to it breaking off, that Serraine was probably more oval in shape and that the current northwesterly angular portion of the flying island is probably where the part that ended up careening off into space belonged. (The gnomes have just added on all the angular stuff in the centuries since while repairing the damage.)
Either that, or perhaps it came from the now missing southwesterly portion, making the hypotenuse of Serraine the "break point."

Re: Map Request Thread
Thorfinn, any possibility of a Penhaligon map along the lines of the Threshold map?
As far as I know, no one has ever detailed the place to any great effect. I have some ideas for a description in line with the those on the Vaults of Pandius --- it references the Tainted Sword novels but is more in keeping with the actual town size.
EDIT: I spoke with Thorfinn about this offline. Nooooope, no one has tackled Penhaligon. Looks like I'm dusting off CC3 or Hexographer.

Re: Map Request Thread
One blogger has mapped Penhaligon. He appears to have made a few changes, but for what it is worth…

Re: Map Request Thread
That's the only one I've been able to find too. I need a bit more detail. Time to break out the mapping tools...
I think everyone would make changes from the version in the novels... besides, it was destroyed in them anyway.

You are bumping a topic that has not seen activity since 2012 Nick.nick_crenshaw82 wrote:Bumpnick_crenshaw82 wrote:I don't know if it is to for a request but would it be possible for Great Waste/Sind Desert map at 8mph?
There are no rules against "Thread Necromancy" at The Piazza, but it's possible that the three and a half years of no updates has made the people you want an answer from stop looking at this topic.
Perhaps a PM to the person you want an answer from would be the way to go.
