Comments
1) This should be just after the time of the Mogreth Flood. Much of inland Mogreth has been swept away, but I'm not sure what I have is the best way to portray this. I do envision the landscape recovering a fair amount.
2) I've actually left the ruins of Isshum on this map. I figure it might be nice to play with those ruins for the following 250 years or so, before the event that sinks Taymora also removes the last remnants of Isshum.
3) The Great Plateau is still intact at this point - it will crumble circa BC 1750.
4) Most of the BC 2300 shoreline is still intact at this time.
5) I've also melted off some of the northern glaciers - the terrain changes may still need to be tweaked.

Thanks! BC 1750 is next, and that one will have some significant coastline changes.

I'll chime in on the awesomeness. Thanks for leaving Isshum's ruins in place, since they are supposed to stick around for a few centuries afterwards, before they finally sink out of view.... ;)

Thanks guys!

Here are a few more interesting facts about this time:
- The Ethengarians move into the Steppes at this time. They won't have their first Khan until 1688.
- On the Savage Coast, the Herathians emerge, "supplanting" the aranean culture before them.
- Nithia emerges in the wake of Mogreth's fall
- Urzud, Taymora, and Intua are at their height.
- The Shimmering Lands will collapse in civil war in another 200 years (and Kagyar will reform the winners into modern dwarves).
- Meditor and Verdier elves colonized southern Taymora (circa BC 2100)
- The Antalians move into the northern lands, probably displacing dwarves of the Shimmering Lands.
- A band of underground elves re-emerges in Glantri and settles there (until BC 1700).

EDIT: Updated map with additional labels.

I've gone back to BC 2000 and inserted the Makai and Toralai. I'm thinking that the Makai were in the area pre-BC 2000, but that the Toralai would be relative newcomers. They were probably pushed out of their native lands to the north by the Ethengari.
