Running a Savage Coast game via SKYPE voice, PLAYER WANTED

Post by scalydemon » Tue Mar 16, 2010 8:32 pm

Hi - I currently run a weekly game via SKYPE voice, and dragonsfoot chat for dice roller.

We usually play every Monday eve at 430pm pst/730pm est and go for about 3 hours.

Have a good group of players but could use 1 more steady player. Everyone is currently still 1st lvl. The group is currently north of Purto Preto in the Savage Baronies.

The rule system is Goblinoid Games new 1e clone (AEC-Advanced Edition Companion).
If you know how to play AD&D 1e you already know how to play this system basically.

If interested please join

Thanks,
Scott

Hey Scalydemon!

I would love to join your game, but I'm just too busy to commit to something like that. Hope you find players though. I think its awsome that you will be using the Savage Coast setting :)

I'm in the same vote; I'd absolutely LOVE to play a game in the Savage Coast as I've never had the opportunity to do so before but life just isn't keen on letting me at the moment. :(

Thanks for the messages and the support. I do have a full group again now. I love the Savage Coast setting. I view it as a frontier / somewhat unsettled area, but with a ancient history. I have read alot of Michael Moorcock lately so I am playing some of that twist in a bit. Lots of opps for the players to come across ruins of ancient civilizations etc.

I like that the populations are relatively small, and there are a mix of some cool demi human races in specific areas. I'm not using the red curse/plague part a whole lot.

I love this map, not sure who designed it?

Anyways thanks again for the support and I'll re-post again here if another opening comes up.

Sounds interesting!

Have you read up on the Dravish civilization? (A thread here somewhere). Could be something you can use there with the Savage Coast.

I'm torn on how to deal with the Curse myself.

Thorf did! He is amazing. He is a member here. Check out his Project forum towards the bottom of the main page for loads of more maps like that one.

How about posting some more details from your campaign to share with us? :)
