In the late 80's, I dis use Comeliness éventuellement in my Becmi campaign. PC's hasard both Comeliness and Weapon masterizes and Wresstle Rating ;)
Sounds like my group in the 80s. We wanted to use every optional rule we could find. More rules, the better, we thought. Now I am more inclined to remove things that don't really matter. :)

Of course, it depends on the campaign.

Anyway, I dont remember usinng Comeliness, but if was on characters sheet. But I did use Wresstle Rating a lot. A stone Giant ? No problem, let's Wresstle !

I also remember using an aging effect table from Runequest, as Dominion files makes Time an important factor of campaigns.

My very first D&D character had a comeliness score of 5. That's when you're so ugly that you put a bag over your head.

Luckily, it was a science fantasy game, so we did a little plastic surgery.

I vowed after that character that I would never use comeliness again. :P

I once played a Dwarf with a Cha of 4. I decided that this was because his nose was so big you couldn't really see his face...

Okay I was like 12 at the time

But my DM hated this idea and killed the character off at the first session. ;(

Aside from Charisma not really being the same thing as Comeliness (but they're conflated a lot, by a huge part of the fanbase), I like this interpretation. Makes me think your guy looked like Avatar from the Ralph Bakshi movie "Wizards" (which is terrible, don't watch it, but you can probably find a picture on Bing image search).
