I will have to print those in due time for my Council of Wyrm setting...as well as those for the demihumans once they will be done. They are beautifully done.

Oh, on your website, it's not linked to the update main page yet.

I updated it while you were posting. :) I got the main post up, but then some things came up and I didn't get a chance to circle back to the forums and link it.

I don't know if it was asked/covered before, but I was wondering if you were planning to expend the 11 new elven Gods from the articles: The Seldarine Revisted (Dragon 236) and Magic of the Seldarine (Dragon 251)? Although they are technically already formated for Faiths & Avatars they are pretty slim and could need some loving.

2 Articles from Dragon magazine 155) The Elfin Gods and In the Frost and the Snow was were 5 of those gods were initially created for AD&D 1st.

Yeah, I'm planning on filling them out to the full format.

They are nice addition to the Seldarine and with AuldDragon touch...the result will be awesome.

My only gripe with them is the treatment Tarsellis Meunniduin got. In Dragon magazine 155 (1st ed), it's explicitely states that all of his clergy are Druid (Snow elf had no cleric)...in Dragon 236, they completely changed that...they could have left the Druid :(

Astilabor the Hoardmistress

Post by AuldDragon » Mon Aug 03, 2015 11:42 am

Astilabor the Hoardmistress is the goddess who represents the desire most dragons have for gaining status amongst their peers, mostly through the acquisition of wealth and treasure. This is not greed in the normal sense, for the wealth is not desired for its own sake or to deprive others of the opportunity of gaining it; that is the realm of Task. The importance of status and wealth to most dragons has made Astilabor one of the more powerful draconic deities, and while she feels her wealth places her above the other deities, she does not think her abilities surpass theirs in all things.

Chronepsis the Death Dragon

Post by AuldDragon » Tue Sep 15, 2015 10:01 am

As the silent watcher of time and draconic fate, Chronepsis the Death Dragon rarely interacts with those who are not dead or dying. It is said that he is a counterpart to Io; where Io is the beginning of all things, Chronepsis is the end of all things. He guides the spirits of the draconic dead to the afterlife, and determines the location of their final rest.

I really love the treatment you give to all the Gods. The current Draconic Gods will be particularly helpful for a Council ofWyrm campaign

Any chance of getting the Dragon of Shades added to your list? Although not specifically mentioned as being a deity, any kind of draconic entity capable of eating godlings should be considered as some type of deific level entity.

See College of Wizardry, Reverse Dungeon and A Guide to the Ethereal Plane for info on the Dragon of Shades.

It seems more like a mythic monster, perhaps on a level of Forgotten Realm's Kezef the Chaos Hound or Dendar the Night Serpent, than an actual deity.I don't think I'd treat it as a deity unless Bruce Cordell has said otherwise somewhere.

Kind of what I thought, wanted to ask anyways though. Seems more like a Cthulhu-like entity with the power to destroy worlds/deities. Not something you'd really want PCs to be able to summon/contact/attempt to control.

Aasterinian, the Messenger of Io

Post by AuldDragon » Wed Dec 02, 2015 12:00 am

Aasterinian, the Messenger of Io is a playful and vital deity who revels in play and learning. She is Io’s messenger to both mortal dragons and her fellow draconic deities, although she isn’t always prompt. She is a friendly, wandering deity, who can often be found having adventures of her own or enjoying the hospitality of other deities.

Another beautiful product. Once the dragon Gods are done, it will be a great gaming add for any Council of Wyrms game :)

And can't wait for the Missing Demihuman gods to be done further down the road. :)

Yep. I decided she works a bit better as a separate deity from Aasterinian.

Elemtia the Tempest

Post by AuldDragon » Fri Jan 01, 2016 12:00 pm

Elemtia the Tempest is mentioned in one line in the Council of Wyrms campaign setting, as a demipower of elementals favored by chaotic dragons. I decided to expand that to elemental magic, elemental forces, and nature, with followers who are akin to druids.
