Vaults of Pandius updated

Weird red metals, dominions, immortals, hollow planets, invisible moons, and a lot of glorified magic zeppelins. It's all here.

It's a long process, and can be fairly subjective.

Indeed, All the stuff has to be checked and checked for functionality and additionility to Mystara and readability.(some material is too faded to be scanned, or too illegible to decipher, or too mouse eaten to repair)

Update 26 April 2020

I have maintained currency with things directly sent or pointed out to me: files from the Mystara, Mystara Reborn, BECMI and Hollow World Facebook groups; the Mystara Reddit; and the following rooms on The Piazza: Mystara 3E Conversion Project, Mystara 4E Conversion Project, Classic D&D, Thorf's Project main room, Hollow World, Savage Coast, Geographical Mapping on Thorf's Project, and Thunder Rift. For The Piazza: main Mystara room I am also current.

The following files have been loaded on the Vaults of Pandius:
  • Dengar, view of the walls and inside the city.
  • Drawn map of the Known World, it is not to scale and is meant to serve as a replica of a map a jarl or lord may have in their planning room.
  • Map of Blizzard Pass and Thunderdelve Mountain and Paizo's Kobold King Series of 4 adventures, 1 mile per hex.
  • Norwold Gazetteer (Italian) version 1.
The following files have been updated on the Vaults of Pandius:

Great Work Shawn

One minor flaw though.
You labeled ; " The Blizzard Pass area map" as " The Troglodytes of Blizzard Pass".
I think you were somewhat mixed up with the " Cold adaptation/Restoration for Lizarmen, Troglodytes, etc."
It is not really wrong, yet It is more an area map than about the Troglodytes.

Thanks Robin, for some reason I had been linking the map page from two links. I've fixed it above now, as well as on the Vaults - there is a separate Troglodytes of Blizzard page.

The compilation PDF of the Dungeon Master's Guide to Cynidicea now has a rather fetching cover which makes it look very professional.

I can only agree. Very very nice product indeed.
The only thing missing in my opinion are maps (or links to maps) and maybe some of the art (yet I understand the copyright restrictions). For those seeking. The adventure B4 Lost City itself, the Dungeon Magazine 142 return too had some.

I have found an italian? version on Scribd with this awreome cover, yet don't know if it is similar(as I can't read italian), yet it has an overal equal feel, Image I do like the interior art of both though. the simple black&white of the one above and the simple pastel/pencil art of this one.

https://www.dmsguild.com/product/267457 ... sion-Guide is a 5e conversion guide with also nice art

Last words on this matter; I am very interested in the Goodman Games B4 Lost City revival, even tough I personally don't like the non BECMI D&D versions, a lot of good stuff is still wthin it, and I suppose will be in this version. Curious to see if they will use fan works like the above awesome work of GeoFF Gander and his group in it..

I love the battlemaps for B10 by Elvis Spadoni. They are beautifully rendered and come very handy for me.
They would be even better if I knew just what map size they are supposed to be (in other words, how many 5-feet-squares for VTTs). Does anyone know how to contact the mapmaker and maybe ask him to add that information?

Agreed - the new cover, interior art, and revised layout are gorgeous. The only thing I would suggest, if we wanted to push this document over the top, would be to give it a similar header, footer, and font to Threshold Magazine or something similar. That, and include a closeup from Thorf's revised Ylaruam map showing Cynidicea's location.

If I were to work on this project now there would be other things I would have included - like PC creation rules in OD&D and 5E for Cyndiceans, and the phantom map of Shah'krzheth that I do remember making and now can't find...

Anyhow, if I did do an update, that's what I would do.

Update 17 May 2020

  • BECMI Indexes including lists of Classes, Subclasses, Secondary Classes, Paths, Backgrounds, Clans, Skills, Equipment, Armor, Weapons, Siege Weapons, Transport, Devices, Spells, Monsters, Magic Items, Artifacts, Rules and Adventures.
  • Il Morso del Ragno d'Oro (MA2) an adventure for 4 to 5 characters of level 4 to 5, 5E (in Italian). In Glantri City the PCs are tasked to discover the fate of Teufel, the last lover of an aristocratic viscountess - Lucrezia di Malapietra. In the meantime a gang of ruthless Hin assassins and thieves terrorize the city. Strangely enough, Teufel's fate seems linked with the evil halflings.
  • Extended Equipment List for Classic D&D: Stables.

Great Work again Shawn
I'll check my posts in pandius it's links, and inform you by email.

One note on the Tuma 3050BC file
Apparently you just copied it before the additional post I placed on the 3050BC location.
The General map of Tuma has to be added to the Tuma 3050 BC post, as it now holds the labeld city locations accordingly.
Here is the deviartart location where you'll find the map updated.https://www.deviantart.com/6inchnails/a ... -843769153
The Location of Tuma Post is oke, it is just that the 3050BC Tuma discussion shoulds hold the updated version of the map which holds the city location . best to place this after the first two lines of text.

another option is to fuse both tuma posts together, and update the map, at least that way all information is connected
