[Threshold] Choose the next themes of Threshold magazine!

Weird red metals, dominions, immortals, hollow planets, invisible moons, and a lot of glorified magic zeppelins. It's all here.

My first thought on seeing it was the Marshwoods in Thunder Rift and how anyone killed in there rises as a ghoul w/ their abilities and most of their intelligence still intact.

Don't we already have that in areas of Glantri?
Yes, but this is cosmic horror, à la Lovecraft, rather than classic horror like vampires and the like.

I'm so glad there's interest. :)

I also have writeups of zhochal living technology, some excerpts from Riders of the Winds stashed somewhere....thid could be monstrous.

I leave it up to the Powers That Be, but this may be a good time to link to my writeups on the OBs on my blog.

The one thing I'd like to do, is contact an artist I know to create a drawing of a zhochal.

As for the Dark Shire.....yeah, I could revisit it. That'll take some thinking.

Note that Strongholds, Heroes and Villains and Adventures and Campaigns are still the most voted theme and those we are currently planning. But if Seer already has material ready, rather than try to plan a "Horror" issue in the future we could plan a series of articles by him, starting with the zhocal and then detailing anything he may want to write about.

That would work for me - keep them coming back with new material. I'll dig out my character creation article and see if it needs any revisions before sending it along.

If Strongholds is the theme I could participate with a hand drawn fortification with a bit of background for it.

Great Geoff, send what you have. Issue 19 is now about to be published, but we could fit something in issue 20 to be published in July. It will be about Skothar but having also an article on Davania and/or the Outer Beings is not forbidden at all :)

Shesheyan, Strongholds is currently planned for issue #23 planned for June 2019, so you have plenty of time :) Issue #21, to be published in October 2018, will be about Specularum, and issue #22 will be Adventures and Campaigns, planned for February 2019. Still if you have something ready before, it could be possible to find space in a previous issue, if the rest of the editor team agrees. Just let us know.

Spring and summer are too busy for me this year. I could participate to the October Specularum issue. Do you have a table of content ready for that issue so I don't come up with the same article as other writers.

Maybe w/ your suggestion of a "series" of articles, somebody might finally get around to detailing Wizardspire and you can print it like you did the other "megadungeon." It could also fit in w/ a "horror" theme. No reason the Mad Mage can't be a powerful Lich, after all the setting already had a 20**** HD Red Dragon (Scorch).

Allan and Agathokles are the editors of the Specularum issue. Not sure it has space available for more articles, but it could have. I will bring this to their attention. Anyway probably you can still do it for October if that's the best time for you, and we will publish it as soon as there is available space in the magazine.
