Re: Useful Links
Nice find. I doubt it will survive the assault of the delitionists (as it "lacks citations from reliable secondary sources"). It would be nice to see this list transferred onto one of the independent D&D wikis (where the rules are different).Twin Agate Dragons wrote:Wikipedia: List of Prestige Classes

Re: Useful Links
I love this concept. It is a totally legal way to create a cut down version of the rules required to create characters for any OGC 3rd Edition era campaign setting. Do this with any setting and you will end up with a non-standard SRD. I'd have liked to have seen all campaign settings from the 3e era get this. If the owners did it themselves, it would be a bit like the Pathfinder Reference Document.Ashtagon wrote:

Things like this are a great way for a GM to introduce players to a setting, as the GM can buy the corebook and the players can start off rolling characters from the SRD (until they decide to buy into the system themselves). A modified SRD is also a great way to roll up a PC when you are away from your books (and if the setting is successful enough to run to 10 or 20 books, an online SRD starts to become easier to use that a bunch of books. Hyperlinks give you speedy navigation.
You won't get the actual flavour of the setting, but there is no reason why players could not turn to an independent project (like Pathfinder Wiki) to get the basic information they need to design a PC.
