Good ideas.

Another obvious inspiration for a religious leader on a pirate ship would be to emulate Shepherd Book.

A bit of reading this afternoon has prompted a new relic and interlude, inspired by the Bahamian love vine.

Here are three more treasure items (or, at least, two treasures and a connection to more treasure) for any piratical campaign.

Nice! Great maps too!

Between this, and the Cthuleqsue Opera from Winds of Freeport, I'd say the pirates are getting some culture! :)

Thank you, Havard. I do think it would be fun to play a shantyman, so as to work in all kinds of songs and quotations.

This interlude presents a band of pirates that could serve as a foil for the PC's.

Today's post is a short scenario that can be used as a follow-up to "The Ends of the Earth." More generally, it provides suggestions for taking old, familiar place and characters and turning them into new plot hooks in a brutal kind of way.

I'd like to wish a happy Fourth of July to all who celebrate.

In the spirit of independence, here's an interlude with suggested questions and developments if a band of pirates should ever want to establish its own community of outlaws, refugees and other vagabonds.
