MA1e Deluxe Hardcover Edition By Goodman Games

Post by Craig_in_ACT »

It is finally happening, for real!!!

Jim Ward and Joseph Goodman have come up with a plan that is too good to pass up:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/14 ... d?ref=live

I can't spot how to upload images here without hyperlinking to the site direct. But there's some great pictures of what's going on.

I don't know about you guys, but I am excited :)

I'm in. I have all 4 editions of MA, but this "expended" reprint looks awesome.

I agree MA is very brilliant in its simplicity. And was a strong influence on Gamma World (at least some of its editions did). And offered a lot of potential for a Scifi game of any genre.

Kickstarter steals more money from me. :)

I still have yet to acquire 3rd or 4th MA. For 1st I only have the pdf.

Dulsi,

Depending upon your pledge level, you might be in for a real treat! $49 thousand raised so far. Pretty big pile of stretch goals happening :)

We made it! $75,000 the slipcase, adventures, geomorphs, an optional belt buckle, a mutations and devices manual (from memory) and we still have hours to go!

We have a few hours to go, and to my surprise, we may yet make the final stretch goal at $80,000 for the command bracelets!

In-freaking-credible!!!

How do they work? The page said something about four people getting captain's bracelets. Are they being picked randomly or are the special ones going to four people that made a specific pledge?

I gather that the bracelets will be randomly distributed. Not sure about the Captain ones, but I'd expect that to be the case as well.
Progress on the goal is going at a very fast pace :)

I Received my box today in Eastern Canada. I'm as gleeful as a school girl (not to shabby fora 39 year old dad). The book is beautiful, the extra goodies are awesome and the "engineer" Bracelet (White on Grey) is well made,

I finally got to open mine, after the last of the Kickstarter packages got delivered :)

Goodman Games and Jim Ward are planning to do the Epsilon City Boxed Set next!

In the meantime, I'm still pottering along doing Starship Geomorphs :)

The Epsilon City kickstarter has launched and will run until September 2nd. I've put in my pledge.

I'm on my cellphone and sadly cannot add link.
