Wizards of the Coast has written up several Planescape monsters for 5th Edition in their latest issue of Dragon+. A sign of things to come, perhaps?

Oh wow, they're the monsters introduced in the Planescape: Torment game. I wasn't expecting that.

It's part of a series they're doing revisiting the Dragon archives. In 1999, Dragon published 2e versions of some monsters in the Planescape: Torment computer game -- which was itself part of a series that presented adaptations of things from fantasy-genre computer games. So this is 5e conversions from that 1999 article.

The same series of retrospectives brought back Clay-O-Rama and Dino Wars, with 5e-style layout and designs, a couple of issues ago:
