[Shaintar] Anyone Check this out?

The discussion thread about Suzerain made me dig out my other book from Talisman Studios/Savage Mojo which details the fantasy world of Shaintar. I always confuse Shaintar and Suzerain probably because they are both for Savage Worlds and have similar sounding names. Shaintar is much more of a traditional fantasy setting though.

Has anyone else checked out this setting?

Shaintar is high fantasy, characters in it would not feel out of place in Greyhawk or the Forgotten Realms.

Suzerain is more of a meta-setting. It's the grand multiversal framework that all the other genres and setting nestle into. In Suzerain you could take your Shadowrun style hero from Shanghai Vampocalypse into a steampunk world (Clockwork Dreams), into Shaintar (which is actually an official part of Suzerain despite being produced by Evil Beagle Gmes), or literally anywhere else.

In my home game It fits as the overarching framework one order of magnitude upwards from the Planescape array of planes. Cut through Suzerain's Maelstrom and you can get to anywhere your GM's twisted little mind desires.

Yeah,
one of the things I really liked about Shaintar was the GM to GM section, which really helped provide ideas for how to run things in Savage Worlds :)
