[Barsoom] play test review of new licenced John Carter RPG from Modiphius

“As you know I am not of Barsoom; your ways are not my ways, and I can only act in the future as I have in the past, in accordance with the dictates of my conscience and guided by the standards of mine own people.” All RPGs base based on Edgar Rice Burroughs' Barsoom stories can be discussed here.

Thanks Coronoides. I missed that one.

There is a PDF version of the magazine, if anyone finds that easier to navigate/download. It's on the Thirtieth First Issue: Old School Revolution June 2016 page.

The freebie quickstart version of the new John Carter game is on DriveThru now.

Of course it's still 2d20, so I'm still of mixed minds...

The gap between the 2d6 ruleset that I'm currently using in a Barsoom game that I'm playing and the 2d20 ruleset is big, but it is not that impossible to bridge, after all... :)
