Where is the A Way with Words adventure from?

I love that you have included magical and non magical books to this list.

How many non standard magical items are found here? I notice the Eisenmond blade and the Abelaat crystals. The Black Dragonscale chestplate and Black Dragon Bloodstone are also worth noting...

A Way with Words is from #41 Dungeon Magazine. It's the one that introduced Edgewater to the Rift. I threw in the Abelaat crystals since Chambrin may not have gotten them all. The Eisenmond blade melts w/ Estorax Rex's death in the final DragonQuest adventure. The Black Dragonscale chestplates are from the 1st of the Dragon's Lair adventures. As for the various Dragon Bloodstones: aeons ago I read something that talked about when dragons are slain, the last drop of their blood forms Bloodstones. While they may be used in magical research, they HIGHLY sought by Mages because they retained the dragons magical essence. (I believe it was written that while in possession of a Bloodstone, the Mage could memorize 1 extra spell per HD of the dragon; but, only of the levels the Mage could already use.) The Para-Elemental Summons device is from Knight of Newts & no longer has its magic; but, it could be used by a magic-type to research the creation of another. The Skeleton Key is from Sword & Shield, I just elected not to limit it to only usable in Avenal since there's nothing saying the PC would leave it behind. The Gem of Protection from Sleep & Charm is also from the 1st Dragon's Lair adventure, it's pasted to the face of one of the lizardmen. The dagger: Dragon Fang is from the Eisenmond Blade adventure. I don't actually have the card for it, so I just made it +2 vs Draconic. Carving of Restful Sleep is from Assault on Raven's Ruin & on the list since not every party will destroy it. Both the Bone Sceptre of Shock & the Bone Crown are from Quest for the Silver Sword as to is the Magic Bell that makes food 3 times per day.(Dang but I love that little toy) I intentionally left out a sword from Rage of the Rakasta, since it does say the Rakasta will hunt down anyone who steals it. The Cat's Eye-ring, Shadow Suit & Climbing Claws came from wandering Rakasta that attacked the party. Also of note: the Dimensional Portal Diamond Talisman I placed in Asticles stronghold in place of the 500 GP diamond that was in there.(Party took ages to realize they had the Talisman all along) Also: some of the adventures say for the DM to place items in specifically for the various party members; Raven's Ruin & Goblin's Lair spring to mind. As for the magical & non-magical books, I look at them all as being usable in a Mage/Elfs library.

To be noted: The Message adventure is from OD&Dities #1. The various Challenges are from 2nd Edition: I dumped them as written into the Rift, making them tougher(as needed) to account for the higher XPV's. I also included the various Vale adventures, & like the Challenges, just dumped them as is also. Marsh Woods: Wights Castle is one of my own. Lair of the Changeling I THINK I grabbed from VoP; but, I'm not sure. The Djinni's Ring is from Dungeon Magazine #9. The Red Box of course is Frank Mentzer's w/ a couple of add-ons: Assault on Mistamere from VoP & Find Bargle from Threshold #8. Also, The Wanderer's Grave was grabbed from VoP. The various XP listings are rough maximums, while the overall total didn't include wandering monsters between adventures.
