I had the Haunted Tower and Dragon's Den, back in the day. Still have the booklets in one or another of the boxes in the garage...

Goblin's Lair is now available on PDF. Thanks to Bruce Heard for pointing this out. One Facebook poster mentioned that there were some problems with this PDF however.
David Russel wrote:I got the 2 box set BECMI modules on DMSguild (goblin lair, and dragon den) and tho the module portion of the pdf is great, i'm not happy with how they did the maps/cardboard cutouts. one page of the character cards in Goblins lair is positioned wrong for the scan, and i'm pretty sure the dragons den is missing the character cards completely. Luckily i have these in dead tree versions, with maps and cutouts still in tact. I also wish they would also have included ONE complete scan of the map on one page. buyer can take that to a store and print it at whatever size. but cuting it into sections is annoying for printing reasons.
Bruce Heard revealed the following about the cover of this boxed set:
Bruce Heard wrote:I never agreed with the Githyanki cover BTW. These boxes were "remote controlled" by LW.
What do you think about the above comments?

Is anyone planning to pick up this boxed set or the PDF?

Going to Raise Dead Topic rather than start a new thread. Question: What, if anything, did you like best about this boxset?

#1. Lord Gargin the Mad: a Dwarf Wight that, in life, dabbled in evil magics. You get to loot his study and laboratory IF you can find them. The study gives each class a chance to find intact writings: either spells or scrolls.
#2. If all 3 adventures are completed, w/ the party returning important items to their rightful owners, each member of the party recieves 2 medals: #1. Silver Pendant that grants a +4 bonus on the NPC Reaction Chart when dealing w/ Gnomes. #2. An Iron Star of Kleine that gives a +2 to all rolls on the NPC Reaction Chart when dealing w/ the Human inhabitants of Thunder Rift.

The inclusion of Lord Gargin is cool since it hints at TR Dwarves being able to be Spellcasters &/or Alchemists. As for the inclusion of the 2 medals, keep in mind that most times rewards are: here's your gold, thanks for the help....and a week later noone even remembers. W/ the medals however, those remind NPC's that the party has done great services in the past & should be saught out whenever trouble arises.
