3rd Edition Dark Sun Conversions

I've moved everything that has some relevance to bringing Athas into the 3rd edition onto this list. It includes things like monster conversions, new spells, new races, etc. -Idabrius

I guess that is where the discussions will be taking place unless they realize how good the Piazza is :)

Hmm. I wonder if the Wayback Machine has archived any of them.

Nope. That was just technical problems. I found this notice on their homepage:

Jon // Oracle wrote:We just renewed our domain. Apologies for worries and inconveniences to any fans trying to access the site during the renewal process. Everything is fine now.

I took a look at one of the geocities sites, and it's still there. I think a good project for someone to tackle (not me!) would be to gather that information and host it on one site, perhaps as an archives section to Athas.org.

Ten dead geocities links replaced with Wayback Machine archived versions. 3 Geocities webites remain to be checked with other archives (Reocities, Oocities, etc).

I've got a possible replacement website for Freedom. :D

Someone posted a link to a website called FreeDoM on the Dark Sun group on Facebook. The name is pretty much the same, so it would be a big coincidence for this to be a different website. I'll see if I can check with the source.

EDIT: The Wayback Machine copy of the Geocities link matches the link I just found and the Geocities page actually confirms that FreeDoM was moving to twinmooncircus.net. So this one can move out of the Geocities section to the main section.

Dragonhelm, I've got all of the old Geocities and other legacy sites saved on my computer and one of my ideas for Athas.org was to repost them. Unfortunately not all of the images are included in the scrape and it would be a fairly labor intensive process, so nothing more has been done with it.

Over at ENWorld there is this Dark Sun collector's guide. They actually have guides for other settings too, so it may pay to give a look.

You may want to just put :

http://siltskimmer.org

instead of:

http://siltskimmer.org/net_projects.html

The name is : The Siltskimmer Page

and it's purpose was mostly about storing and maintaining DS links.

Done. Thanks for the heads-up.
