[Art] Dark Sun - Sirocco Winds

Post by Silverblade-T-E » Mon Jul 09, 2012 3:10 am

Driven by the demonic furnace of the Dark Sun, the shifting desert wind is an living force, or so it seems, slowly eroding rock that once stood over underground rivers, buried deep beneath hills long since reduced to dust by the heat and scouring sand.
Life clings to the faint seep of moisture drawn up form the twice-sunken river, and a thri-kreen druid does his best to keep the sands from engulfing one of the few spots of life in the desolation...even when that life it is a huge scorpion riled and angry from being sand-blasted. it is still life and thus, preciously rare

Very nice!

I wonder, do the people of Athas have anything similar to the Wind Traps from Frank Herbert's Dune?
