Wow. Been a long time since I played NWN, but when I did, City of Arabel was definitely the best persistent world. Good times.

Seems pretty interesting. Is any of their documentation useful for tabletop play in the Arabel area?

Not really. CoA has been running for 11+ years. At first they stuck to hard-canon, but the DMs are very good and have allowed players to decide the direction of the story. It has since deviated from FR canon significantly. Most of the documentation on CoA's forum and Wiki pertain to how it's different from default Realms, and how certain game mechanics have been implemented on the server. There might be some useful information, pertaining to "kits"--small back-story benefits granted to players who choose to play straight-class characters without multiclassing. An example would be the "thug" kit, which grants +1 intimidate & bluff, in exchange for -2 persuade; or "field commander" which gives +1 AC, AB, & Dam to allies within 20m in exchange for -1 WILL saves.
