D&D designers creating Warcraft novels - any connection?

Post by Big Mac » Sat Mar 18, 2017 12:50 pm

A couple of years back, I found out that Wizards of the Coast were going to publish Warcraft as a D&D product (or product line).

I was just thinking about this again, and I realised that at least two of the Warcraft novels are written by D&D designers/novel authors.

I know that WotC passed over a copy of their unpublished D&D book to Sword and Sorcery Studio. Does anyone know if the Warcraft novels were originally planned to fit in with the WotC book?

Is it possible that we might have had further WotC tabletop books that had some sort of relationship to the plot of the early Warcraft novels?
