Bestiary 2

Common Monsters Regardless of Environment
Fetchling (Kayal)|A very, very common race seen by those that inhabit the |civilized lands, if the DM permits they may be chosen |as a PC race Grippli|The majority of Sarunia is a vast wilderness of forests |and jungles, most of which is temperate to warm so grippli |are a very common sight to those that go to explore the |vast untamed wilderness. There are two types of grippli; |forest and marsh, forest grippli apply their swamp stride |ability to forests instead of swamps. Grippli characters |may be an option if the GM allows it. Lamia Matriarch|Actually just called lamias in Sarunia, they have |integrated themselves very well into the civilized lands |and quite possibly have murdered an entire family and claim |to be the sole survivor (though mortally wounded) in an |attack on the house. Lamias also have male counterparts and |are known to breed true among their kind. Lamias are not |cursed beings, but rather created beings and have a base |alignment of CN; they are patient and cunning and weave |intricate plots of deception and lies to further their |own agendas, a good many of the females become courtesans |and escorts to try to wiggle their into politics and power.

Changes to monsters
Spriggan|Since gnomes are a race unheard and unseen on Sarunia, |Spriggan lose the humanoid type and replace it with the |fey type. Triton|Tritons are humanoids, not outsiders. Fully amphibious. |Land speed 30 ft. Swim speed 60 ft. Need to be relegated |to CR 1/2. Mating with humans and elves produces either |a merfolk or half-elf triton, respectively. Cannot advance |by size.

You know that "Skildpadder" is Danish and means literarily "Shield-Amphibians" (it's used for turtle/tortoises with no distinction).
One "skildpadde", two "skildpadder"!

Listen to "Skildpadde" in Danish (yep the soft d's are a killer for foreigners):

Then the Norwegain Skilpadde (only got 2 d's)

Swedish: Sköldpaddor (plural), a bit different, but still means Shield-Amphibian.

The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,/But I have promises to keep,/And miles to go before I sleep,

Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—/I took the one less traveled by,/And that has made all the difference.

I did not know that. Very cool and very appropriate (for my setting, that is).
