The Wildling race is up in the air, I think it is too much of a loose cannon race. Instead of lumping animal-man hybrid races into one race where the player can pick the traits they want, I think I need to have a tighter reign on race choices. So instead of having packages that characters can choose for animal-human hybrids (like what I had planned for the Wildling; bird-folk, fish-folk and horse-folk) I am going to just have unique races. I've been working on the traits for my aquatic race, which I have decided to call Malquaren
, they are an advanced breed of merfolk.
I will be working on a bird race as well, perhaps more than one. Eagles and ravens being the most likely candidates to base them off of. I may even consider some sort of anthro parrot race.
As per centaurs and tauric races overall I am just not sure how to fit them into the world. I think I'd rather have bipedal animal based humanoid races rather than quadruped animal based humanoids. I think if I did include races that were based off of quadrupeds I would be more inclined to uplift them to being bipedal and thusly making them four armed races.
