Nautical Sound Effects

Post by Nate Christen » Sat Feb 11, 2017 1:23 pm

Some of you probably saw this over on the RPG.net boards, posted by That Other Guy, but I thought I'd share it here, too. It's a SoundPad website with nautical sound effects that can be overlapped.

Wow, this is very cool!

I have visited this site before, but not this particular section. Love it!

A bunch of Tabletop Audio Patreon supporters have pledged over $1,000 per month to help fund this and 104 other Sound Pads on the Tabletop Audio website.

So you might be able to use the generic Sound Pad page to add a few non-nautical sound effects to the Age of Sail effects and cover a Freeport campaign that doesn't stick to ships. :)

EDIT: The various backer levels they have just seem to be about what people can afford to donate, but I wonder if they would be willing to entertain requests for soundscapes that would work for fans of specific D&D campaign settings. :)
