Yes, that's right! You read it here first!

Yours truly is working on a free-to-download pdf fanzine featuring the world of Pelinore. The first issue will be released in August 2013 and will contain:

Trade of Kings - an introduction to a campaign for Darker Dungeons
Halls of Hyrpum - details of the largest market town in NW Cerwyn
Religions of Pelinore - Tarmenel, Saith, Pharastus, Onjura, the Green Man and Csthenkes
Bash at the Black Rooster - an introductory adventure for Darker Dungeons and potential kick-off for the Trade of Kings Campaign...

...and more!

Also featuring cover art by Karoly Bera.

I'm so excited I could crush a grape :D

Wow! Great cover and the content sounds good, too!

I'll add it to my zine list when it's released!

If the book is not within close proximity, one is playing "away from the book" or "across from the book" or "someplace where the book is not located".

Sweet! All the best with the new project! :D

I played in an (online) Pelinore campaign for a few years, back in the early 2000s. It's great to see the setting with such strong support.

Sounds fun. Is it still up? Did you make a game diary?

Maybe you could write a thread about your game, so that others can look to what you did for inspiration for their own Pelinore adventures. :)

Stu Francis! Thanks for that, Ashtagon. I was struggling to remember his name.

UPDATE - the release date for issue 1 might stretch to the end of August or beginning of September. I thought y'all should know.

I must apologize. Too much work and the illness caused by too much work had forced me to suspend work on the fanzine. I am going to do some work on it in the coming weeks. I can't give an updated release date at this time.

Apologies for not posting this news earlier.

I hung in there and then hung some more. Now I'm feeling truly well hung, but at least I'm ready to start work again after my six month creative hiatus.

Stress counseling at work has taught me to make the time for what I enjoy :)

I'll be looking forward to this, but take your time. And don't feel the need for issues of Pelinore Adventure Fanzine to be excessively large. :)

I'm thinking about 40,000 words of content. I have around 5,000 words at present, not including Lorem Ipsum ;)
