Yay! They are up for free!

Is anyone going to retro-convert these to 4e and use them as NPCs in a 4e Nentir Vale game?

Let's see:

Keen: just play a swordmage.
Penelope: play a druid with the guardian build.
Briv: play a knight with the chevalier theme.
Orkira: either a standard cleric focused on light powers and feats, or a warpriest of the sun domain
Avren: Dark pact warlock
Fla'aper: perhaps the difficult one, as the aarakokra weren't playable in 4e. The class, just use the ranger with a few thematic feats, but you would need to homebrew the race

I like that idea.

Sounds about right. Were there any flying races in 4e? Maybe one that could be reskinned?

Playable? Only the dragonborn, if you chose to play using Dragonlance variant rules for creating draconians.

Ah yes, I'd forgotten about that. At least we could get a sense of how to balance flight against other racial features.
