Well. Modrons. Coincidentially, I asked about them a few weeks ago...
Do you have a non-twitter link to that video? Firefox refuses to acknowledge it's very existence.

And Windows 10 refuses to acknowledge Firefox's existence. It's a bad scene all around.

The video is nothing special, just animated drawn modrons carrying pikes, it didn't work with Chrome but played fine with Opera.

Our group today guessed that it is going to be a core Spelljammer booklet, with the Triad -- the three spheres all connected by a single current, being the Realms, Greyhawk, and Krynn -- as secondary sections in the booklet.

The booklet gives you all the basics you need to run Spelljammer for 5E, and then opens up Spelljammer, Greyhawk, and Dragonlance on DM's Guild just as the Realms is already opened... with a proviso that the other major campaign settings are NOT included in "Spelljammer" as "Open", though all the minor ones included in the various Spelljammer products are opened for DMG...

I'll be surprised if they do anything with Dragonlance at this point.

My guess - and this based on nothing in particular other than wishful thinking and subtle hints in recent discussions and releases: A unified Planescape/Spelljammer setting. Maybe some commonalities like unified rules for spelljamming/planejamming. Have your nautiloid travel the Astral Plane in addition to wildspace...

That's okay, I like them enough for both of us. Though admittedly I adjust a few details of their fluff which I don't care for.

LOL!

I think its mostly because I was furious that so many pages had been spent on these «silly» creatures in the MM2 (1983). I felt my hard earned money delivering newspaper was wasted. Would have preferred singular creatures rather than a family of creature that look like polyhedral dice...

That's a valid reason for holding a grudge, to be sure. But I don't find them all that silly, and the new version looks to be moving them more in the direction of "terrifying", as I have always considered them to be.
