[OSR] Fantastic Heroes & Witchery

Today is the first that I have heard/seen of this OSR system. Was scrolling on amazon and came across it. Has anyone played it? Which D&D edition is it a clone of? How well does it emulate the edition it clones? How are the mechanics?

I downloaded the free PDF version of this a while back, and I can say that it was a true labor of love by the author. It is a bit of a cross between several old school versions of the game and even some other retro-clones. It is closest to Classic D&D and AD&D 1st Edition. In my opinion, this is worth getting! It is a great resource for new character classes, combat maneuvers, spells (over 600 of them!!!), and so much more.

I was extremely impressed with the product, and strongly recommend it to all.
