Hello fellow gamers,

I recently stumbled across this site, and I think it's excellent. I particularly like the focus on settings. It seems to create for some exciting discussions.

Cheers,

Greetings Jeff! I know of your work with Castle Zagyg. What are you up to these days?

You are right. Although there are forums for rules discussions and other issues as well, the main focus from the beginning was and remains the settings. I am glad to hear that you like it.

Welcome to The Piazza :)

Thanks Havard, and hello Antonio!

Havard, as Antonio alludes to, I've been working on sword-and-sorcery RPG called Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyperborea. The game is a marriage of system and setting, and is heavily influenced by the literary works of REH, HPL, and CAS, though not without some doses of Lieber, Burroughs, Vance, etc. I usually update the game's status at my AS&SH facebook page.

I've had some articles in Fight On! and Knockspell during the last few years. Also, I have an Labyrinth Lord adventure being produced by Goblinoid Games and Otherworld Miniatures. It is an adventure with gaming miniatures, the first of a series that will be authored by several other traditional RPG adventure writers. So, in short, I'm keeping busy, and thanks for asking.

Antonio -- Progress goes well, though slow. Andreas is in the final stages of the world map, my rough pencil sketch of which can be found here. Ian continues to produce amazing art pieces, and I continue to write, write write, mostly working on the setting portion of the game, as the rules are (IMO) pretty solid at this point.

Anyway, looks like there are a lot of great threads here to explore. I love how you guys are hosting a forum for Frank's Aquaria stuff.

Cheers,
Jeff T.

Welcome to The Piazza Jeff!! If you were interested a thread for Astonishing Swordsmen & Sorcerers of Hyboria could be started in the Other Worlds forum. Franks Aquaria started as one thread and grew to be its`s own forum section.

This sounds like a great idea, Azaghal. Thanks!

Wow! Hyperborea looks interesting. You might want to put a link to your Hyperborea website (or Facebook page) in your forum signature, so that people interested in it can find more information.

The flat earth thing might not fit in with everyone's gameworld, but I bet it would slot nicely into a Spelljammer campaign.

I'd agree with what Azaghal said. I'd love to see a thread about Hyperborea in Other Worlds.

Thank you for the interest, fellows. I'm going to do as you suggest and begin a thread at the Other Worlds forum, and we'll see how it goes! As you can see, I've added a sig, too. Thanks for the reminder. ;)

Hmm, I wonder if my authorship in Headless Hydra's Eldritch Secrets Spell Compendium, Volume 1 gives me celebrity status here?

Bizarre. Paizo do not list the names of any of the authors! The RPG Now page for Eldritch Secrets Spell Compendium covers this.

You might need to remind Havard that you are Charles Wenzler Jr.
