You might want to avoid this trailer if you want to see the movie completely unspoiled!

I liked the trailer. Kylo seems to have grown a bit and doesn't appear as annoying looking or acting as he did in the first one. Wont be a fan of him until he proves himself not to be a whiney annoying boy in a dumb mask like he was in TFA. Really hoping we aren't going to have Empire Strikes back part 2. That was my biggest beef with TFA was that it was A New Hope all over again with different special effects and lacking real space battles which to me is a very important part of Star Wars. This one appears to have a decent looking space battle with fighters and capital ships, but at the same time it appears to have AT-ATs vs Speeders as the Empire is trying to destroy a base. Hmmmm. They really try and push the whole Kylo is trying to blow up Fisher's ship in the trailer or at least the bridge so we will see. Rogue One set a pretty high bar to beat and based off TFA I don't expect it to be beaten. Got tickets for Thursday night though :)

There's too much to take in, and the trailer seems to be throwing a lot of Red Herrings around. The "narrative" it gives us will no doubt prove to be mostly false, but it's also a bit hard to try to take the intercut bits and pieces and thrown around parts of dialogue without any context, but anyway. Visually it is in the Good Star Wars realm, and the promise of Big Space Battle and the Big Land Battle are cool. As is Rey training:

Anyway, going on Wednesday to the local indie theater with soul and then again on Sunday to one of the bigchain multiplex horrors with ginormous screens :)
