Genesis is the only band that ever managed to keep my interest over the decades - even the post Hackett / Gabriel albums. I believe its because the story telling was very creative, bizarre with hints of social critic, the magical and the horrific. They inspired some of my D&D adventures.

I mostly listen to instrumental post rock music now. I don't care about lyrics anymore they **** up my zenitude too much!

I mostly listen to punk music and some metal.

This is the song in my signature, Without Love by Descendents: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NlA3HrmnNGM

Miley Cyrus - Can't Be Tamed
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjSG6z_13-Q

"All of my pieces are jagged, if you can understand this we can make some magic" This really resonates with me, and really feels like a personal motto. I've never felt whole, like all my pieces...all the elements that make me who I am paint a complete picture of who I am. Even if I am ever so blessed and lucky enough to have financial security to live my life as I choose to move forward with the changes I want...I know I'll be a lot happier, but I'll still feel like my jagged pieces won't fit together until I can say that I am happy with how my life is...and I know what that looks like, but it feels like a pipe dream.

My favourite is probably Janáček's Sinfonietta, but some of Shostakovich's symphonies are up there too. Most of the time it depends on my mood, but I don't usually put miusic on to listen to - I use the radio to give ma a more random selection.

Some interesting stuff here. Some of it familiar, and some unfamiliar to me.

I have a wide variety of music that always hovered around the light metal range (anywhere from Metallica to Slayer), but I’ve calmed quite a bit in my older age.

There is a band however that has defined my life. I’ve followed them around the country, seen them 62 times now (having saved about 2/3 the ticket stubs) and have all sorts of paraphernalia of theirs.

That band is 311. I don’t know what it is about them, they’ve always just made me happy no matter what.

I just also have to say I really really hate mumble rap.

I've stumbled upon the HU months ago; it was recommended to me because I was probably searching for Mongolian throat songs to use in my Dark Sun campaign. Needless to say, these fellas are amazing.

As for my two pennies, here's some Greek stoner rock.
Have a look at my Dark Sun 5e Reconstruction or Planescape 5e Belief System

They're releasing a full album soon, and I guess touring Asia and Europe in the Summer, and the Americas in the Fall. I kind of really want to go see them
