You beat me to this post. But I am not going to lie, I can say in all honesty this movie contains the best cinematic half hour sequence of all time. I truly believe that.

Great movie for the general public & long-time comics fans alike! I will see this again in the theatre, and the blu-ray is definitely on my list to get when it comes out!

I'd say that if you have been following the series, you need to watch it (especially if you saw the previous one). If you haven't, a lot of it will feel like there's missing backstory.

After falling asleep during Aquaman and Captain Marvel, Avengers End Game is a pleasant surprise.

You fell asleep during Aquaman? :o

Heh. I missed it when it was in the theaters, but I picked it up on blu-ray thinking this will be a quaint little DC movie that is just another in the line of DC movies swirling down the drain after the clapback that the DC movies have been getting recently.

I was pleasantly surprised by it. Formulaic, yes, but Jason Momoa has a boatload of charm to make it a fun ride nonetheless. ;)

Avengers Endgame was the perfect capstone of the MCU original cast and pure escapist fantasy, IMO. The only thing that could have made it better was including Deadpool, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four and Iron-Man saying, "I'm a LEAD farmer, m**********r!" at the end, but as Mama used to say, "You can't have everything. Where would you put it?"
