Firefox have disabled all their add ons!

Post by Big Mac » Sat May 04, 2019 9:28 am

It looks like Mozilla have screwed up Firefox and caused it to disable every single add-on!

Here is what someone called Tom Scott said to them on Twitter:
Tom Scott on Twitter wrote:
Firefox on Twitter wrote:So sorry for the issue we’re having with add-ons right now!

We’re working hard to fix it and will keep you updated.
If, like me, you currently have the Firefox browser open and working on your desktop, now would be a good time to not close it because, if you do, all your extensions will break.
EDIT: Firefox are rolling out a fix using their "studies" system, so you need to turn that on.

I had noticed an increase in the number of ads showing up - and couldn't find ad-blocker when I checked my add-ons list.

I’m still using Firefox 52.9.0esr for now. I didn’t like any of the changes in Firefox 57.
