$11 short of the Stretch Goal #2. :)

Woops... maybe not. It's actually at $11,500. Pretty close.

I made the same mistake and had to check the number — for some reason I had it in my head that it was at $11,000.

Still, it looks like we might just make it there still. Fingers crossed!

By George, you're right! I was busy elsewhere and not paying attention. Thanks for the poke!

Had to check what these were again:
$9,000: The Peaceful Chinook nearly doubles the number of internal illustrations and adds 4 pages to Dreams of Aerie--to a total of 128 pages. Make sail, says I, for our journey merely begins!

$11,500: The Fitful Levanter upgrades the internal art from pencil work to ink work, increases the number of illustrations, and pushes the book's page count to a bold 132. All hands on deck!
Very cool additions to the book! :)
Further stretch goals will be revealed as the previous ones are reached!
7 hours to go...I guess there's no point in hoping for even more stretch goals? :ugeek:

Anyway, looking forward to my book! :)

The good news is that there were only two dropped pledges as the result of credit card issues. I contacted the backers and offered them to pledge privately through Paypal.

Congratulations on a new successfull Kickstarter. Now that I have a bigger house I've decided to upgrade to printed copies so I will also add poster maps and use those access codes :)

Sure, but in the previous house I had some serious space issues I haven't anymore :) I think you know how small houses can be in Europe having lived on this side of the ocean in the past :)

In case you missed my earlier messages on Kickstarter, the process of sending everyone their discount coupons to purchase previous Calidar books in their printed formats (incl. CST1 & CST2) is underway. PDF files are included with the printed books. Admirals backers should have already received theirs. I know now the system works as I cc'ed myself to double check. The remainder of the discount coupons (from Airman to Captain backers) has already been submitted to DTRPG. Their tech staff will process my requests sometime Monday. Please be on the lookout for 4 separate e-mails that will almost certainly end up in your spam boxes. You're welcome to use any or all of these coupons, or ignore them entirely if you already own these titles. Either this or get extra copies as gifts for others you'd like to attract to Calidar. Thanks!

As it turned out, to be ready for the upcoming convention in TX, I had to convert all of "Dreams of Aerie's" system-neutral stats listed in the Appendix to D&D BECMI (NPCs, monsters, streamlined rosters, and pre-gens.) It actually did not take a huge amount of time. I won't have to do this mental gymnastic while running the adventure next week. Now that this is done, I'll save this information in various places for anyone who wants it . The PDF files will be uploaded after the Kickstarter campaign ends, here, on my blog, and on Calidar's Facebook chat group. Since these aren't listed as products for sale, the issue of copyright and such should not be a problem. A number of you readily use D&D BECMI. Switching these stats to others versions of D&D should be a no-brainer (if anyone wants to modify these files and upload their own conversions, by all means, they'll be included.) Cheers!
Will this PDF be released around the same time Dreams of Aerie is released?

Thanks for reminding me. Yes, releasing those stats about that time makes sense.

Received the pdf. Looks great, not read all of it yet. Probably I will read the physical copy once it arrives.

However in the pdf last page of my copy is blank, white, which does not seem correct. Do others have noticed this?
(Already wrote a mail to Bruce about this, mostly to check if it's only my copy or else).

Page 132 is supposed to be blank.

So, just checked my other Calidar pdf and it seems CST2 Skies of Fury too has a white last page.
But CC1 Beyond the Skies and CAL1 In Stranger Skies have a backcover...
CST1 Under the Great Vault instead has a parchment blank page..
Also I noticed a previous pdf version of CC1 I have (1.2) has the white page instead of the backcover of later versions?

Also I now see that the original first pdf of CST1 (and the 0.5 version too) had a backcover instead of the blank parchment.

Sorry I am a bit confused now as why there are these differences, even if it is not really important in a pdf it seems to me the backcovers as in CC1, CAL1 and earlier CST1 are more pleasant to the eye than the white page.

Guess I'll have to ask Thorfinn about this. :)

The blank page comes from the print file, which requires the final page to be blank. Lately I've been keeping the files for print and digital the same until the last possible moment, because from then on I have to make any changes to both copies, which quickly eats up a lot of time.

CAL1 had quite a few differences between print and PDF; CC1 had less, and now CA1 has almost no differences.

That said, there's no reason not to use the last page of the digital PDF version. What would you like to see there? The back cover? Links to Bruce's web pages and DTRPG?

Backcovers are beautiful, if possible. CC1 and CAL1 are nice, IMHO

We also removed the old ad from page 131 in CAL1 In Stranger Skies's PDF.
