Star Wars Legion Models

Post by Sharkbelly » Mon Jan 28, 2019 1:45 am

My main hobby project for 2019 is to paint up my Star Wars Legion models. I'm hoping to do about one squad and character per week, maybe with a little terrain thrown in too. These have been a real joy to paint! They are a little bit larger than 28 mm, and the detail is great. Here is what I have so far.

Nice! Are the models from the Imperial Assault board game the same scale as the models SW Legions? Can they be used together without too much discrepancy?

There appears to be a bit of a size difference from Assault to Legion (32mm to 35mm?).

However, I've read that with the more recent releases for Assault (Jabba's Palace, etc.) the difference is less noticeable.

Time for a few more! Vader and the Stormtroopers are from Star Wars Legion. The Astromech is a Micro Force toy, and the weapons containers are Reaper Bones.

Thank you! In another month or so I plan to run a short campaign using the West End Miniatures rules.

My goal each week is to paint 7 rank and file troops, one character, and a few accesories or terrain pieces.

I like how the flocked base on Boba Fett helps the transparent support piece disappear into the background.

Thanks! It does give a nice effect.

Here are the biker scouts and the AT-ST. All of the imperial models are now done for my upcoming campaign. It will be run with the old d6 miniatures rules. I hope to start posting some battle reports soon!

And I thought this one would be fun for RPG-style games.
