WOTC Star Wars Models

Post by Sharkbelly » Tue Sep 11, 2018 12:52 am

Hey all, I've begun the process of re-basing some old WOTC Star Wars metal characters that I painted a while back. I've added a little height to each base, and now they will be more consistent with the new Star Wars Legion models. I hope you enjoy them.

The first is the Cerean Jedi. This guy was my character in the Living Force campaign for many years.

Next up is the Human Male Fringer.

Last, for now, is a Warhammer 40K model that I painted up do be a human soldier.

Nice work! :)

Good idea using WH40K minis with Star Wars. It is interesting that you made the guns and lightsaber of these minis metal colored rather than black?

I did. I might change that, but I haven't decided yet.

I don't dislike it. Most Star Wars weapons are black, but this looks very good with the overall palette :)

I haven't updated this one for a while. Here are some recently finished models. There is one warhammer 40K model hanging out in this group.

I just finished up these guys, a wookiee scout and a kid. The kid is actually a wrhammer model, but it was always a popular character in the d6 games I used to play in. :-)

Awesome work!

Great seeing the scrappy kid from WEG Star Wars finally getting his own model! :D

Have you adapted any other non-SW models to Star Wars?

Nice. I remember back in the day there was a post on the old SW WOTC forums where someone had steps on how to modify the mini's. Now long gone I wish I had saved those post on how to best to that.

That's it for the WOTC metal line, except for the ultra-rare Darth Maul model. It's a little odd that there are 19 in the set.
