Forgot to mention - 1 or 2 mile hexes (measured from midpoint of one hex to midpoint of each adjacent hex).

Nifty, would be good as one of the small Isles of the Coast of the North Island (a not-Scotland) in my Green Isles British fairy tale setting. The mines are run by knockers or proper Scots Duergar. There is a human town, a thurse (giant) homestead, and a elven ruin from the Age of Heroes. Speaking of the fey, the forests and thickets are infested with sprites and the giant mushrooms often form ring-gates to malevolent Elfland kingdoms.
